Competition time! Win a copy of "Tunes of Glory"

It's time for another competition. Our last competition to win a copy of "River of Fire" proved quite popular, so we thought we'd throw another prize at you and see if we could do as well, if not better, than the response we got last time.

This time it's for a DVD copy of the film "Tunes of Glory", starring Alec Guinness and John Mills. The films features a Highland Regiment, and as we've discussed on the blog before, might have been influenced by genuine events, albeit not as dramatic as the film.

Here is a link to the trailer for the film but to be in with a chance of winnning your very own copy, simply answer this incredibly easy question:

The author George Macdonald Fraser served in the Gordon Highlanders during the time "Tunes of Glory" is partly based on. But what is the title of the book Fraser wrote about his time serving in the Second World War?

Answers on an email, closing date is the 23rd May. One entry per person, judges decision is final. For those of you from abroad thinking of entering, please ensure your DVD player can play Region 2 discs, as no alternative prize can be offered.

  1. I can't see an email address to send my competition entry to, or a "Contact" button. Perhaps I've not had enough coffee this morning yet...
